Arizona's state mammal is the ringtail and the state reptile is the Arizona ridge nose rattlesnake. The state fish is the apache trout and the state amphibian is the Arizona tree frog. Arizona's most popular natural wonders are the grand canyon, petrified forest, painted desert, sunset crater, saguaro national park and the Colorado River. The Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, Arizona is where Clyde Tombaugh discovered the dwarf planet Pluto in 1930. Arizona is home to 23 Native American reservations representing 21 different tribes.
